Job Title: PUBLIC WORKS INSPECTOR I, and II
Location: Baltimore/Laurel, MD
DME Engineering is seeking a full time Public Works Inspector I, and II to work on a variety of projects to ensure that contractors comply with Project Documents by performing on-site inspections.
Responsibilities:
-
Inspects the work of contractors on highway, street, bridge, water, and wastewater projects to ensure compliance with project documents including specifications and standards.

Experience in water main, sewer main, storm drain, stream restoration replacements
-
Maintain daily field reports and daily logs.

Assist in progress meetings

Review/prepare monthly estimates
Experience/Requirements:
-
Knowledge of agency construction codes and specifications
-
Experience in water main, sewer main, storm drain, stream restoration replacement and road restoration.

Knowledge of construction methods and procedures

Ability to inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with construction specifications, standards, and codes

Ability to communicate effectively

Valid Maryland Class C driver’s license

Job Title: PROJECT ENGINEER
Location: Baltimore/Laurel, MD
DME is seeking a motivated and experienced Water/Wastewater Design Project Engineer to join our expanding water/wastewater engineering practice. The selected candidate will become working on water and wastewater projects, sewer collection, potable water distribution and storage, and pumping station projects in the Greater Maryland Metropolitan area. Candidates must be experienced in using Auto cad and civil 3D.
Responsibilities:

Design responsibilities and project management
-
Work closely with a design team to develop construction plans and specifications for various design projects
-
Developing scopes of work, conceptual designs, and preliminary engineering studies; conceiving and implementing field investigation programs, sub-contractor management, as well as coordination of design disciplines in final design projects
-
Coordination with clients, contractors, outside consultants, government agencies and firm staff
-
Flexibility to support time-critical report development and production to meet demanding schedules
Experience:
-
2 to 7 years experience in a consulting engineering environment.

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.

Knowledge of agency codes and specifications

Familiarity with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint is needed. Candidate must also be able to produce engineering plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D and or MicroStation, ArcGIS .

DME Engineering is seeking a full/part time Document Management Professional to support our clients configuring and supporting existing Oracle Unifier and other cloud Project Management Information Systems including integration with other APIs, building dashboards, and creating reports.
Responsibilities:
-
Manage the day-to-day activities related to configuring PMIS (Project Management Information Systems, Oracle Primavera Unifier, SharePoint, and other PMIS) for clients
-
Support the Solution Architect in designing a solution within the PMIS toolset, including required integrations with third party API’s, Business Process development, reporting and dashboards, and then oversee configuration effort to meet requirements and needs
-
Be the senior configuration resource responsible for making the solution work and the escalation point for configuration challenges from configuration specialists
-
Managing a team of resources for the design, configuration and roll-out of primarily Unifier projects
-
Creating new shells/Projects, assigning users to profiles and providing technical support
-
Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical jargon into clear and concise language
-
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, teams, teaming partners and stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle

Attend technical meetings with IT and stakeholders

Provide training to end users
Experience:
-
3 to 7 years experience in a consulting engineering environment.

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or IT.

Experience with Oracle Primavera Contract Manager, Unifier, P6, and any similar (Procore, eBuilder, etc..)
-
Professional experience deploying, configuring and troubleshooting PMIS (On Premise and Cloud)

Knowledge of document systems architecture (Database, Application Server, Presentation Interface, API's, and related technical requirements)

Knowledge of construction methods and procedures

Experience building and running data queries, stored procedures and data views
-
Experience building dashboards and custom reports using Oracle BI Publisher, Power BI, PowerApps, or others.
